Nine creative companies from Berlin receive award by Federal Government
The Federal Government awards the title "Cultural and Creative Pilots Germany" to 32 companies. One of these companies is Berlin Living Orchestra. The official announcement will take place on 1 December 2017 in Berlin.
Berlin, December 1, 2017 - The award "Cultural and Creative Pilots Germany" is awarded once a year to creative companies that make the world a better place with their ideas. This year, more than 50 percent of the projects work on the border of cultural and creative industries and other areas. This is impressive proof that the creative industries can even rethink fields such as health or nutrition. By that shapes these entrepreneurs shape our society signifactly especially in the field of social entrepreneurship or sustainable product innovations.
"I am pleased to state that this year Berlin is again represented well over average with nine out of 32 excellent start-ups. This shows the significance of the cultural and creative industries for our capital. The winners receive a one-year mentoring through the federal initiative and we will help them to develop and support their business models, "said Ramona Pop, the Berlin Senator for Economy, Energy and operations.
On 1 December, Brigitte Zypries, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, will personally present the boarding passes to the winners in order to check them into their journey as Cultural an Creative Pilots. The Cultural and Creative Pilots participate in a one-year mentoring program with workshops, coaching and a peer-learning-network. The program aims to keep accompany the teams in their entrepreneurial professionalization and by that give them the chance for personal growth. An official and festive ceremony will take place in 2018 in Berlin.
